Welcome

My name is Nidhi and this is my personal website.

I came of age in the heyday of documenting our lives online, through multiple blogs across platforms where I spoke about everything and nothing all at once.

I wanted to capture the best parts of blog culture that I miss so much and introduce myself and my interests. I’m working to archive literal decades of my internet presence, a very slow process given that I have a full-time job and love to spend time doing nothing.

A disclaimer for sensitive readers: This website is part archive and part vanity project - a place to document my thoughts and preserve my digital footprint. I cuss and write about things that many people may find trivial at best and offensive at worst.

In my day job, I work in public policy. I used to be a litigating lawyer and have worked in tech law and policy, public health law, HIV/AIDS advocacy and public interest litigation.

Outside of work, I still do the things I loved doing as a teenager - listening to and overanalysing popular music and killing time online.

In 2007, as a 15 year old, I attended my first trade union strike and it started a lifelong commitment to fighting for equal opportunities, safe working conditions and basic labour rights for all. I believe in collective action, socialism and community-centered activism. I am a rationalist and a feminist.

I try to be glib and funny on my Twitter account but it’s usually expertly curated internet rubbish with my comment. Since being cruelly banished by Elon Musk for a harmless (if slightly mean) joke, I have taken to documenting my pressure cooker thoughts on my blog instead.
